LE CHOIX D'ATROPOS BIOGRAFIA ITALIANA

Progetto musicale di Omega Flow (Catania). Una miscela di elettronica industriale, EBM, trance, ambient, powernoise e ritual ambient creato per trasportare l'ascoltatore in paesaggi e ambientazioni sonore quasi visive. Un progetto multimediale onirico in cui sogni ed incubi si alternano costantemente.  Gli album, quasi tutti concept album, si ispirano a momenti della storia mondiale o a mondi futuri dipingendo, con suoni e rumori in cui la melodia si alterna a complesse trame ritmiche, sulla tela grezza del rumore, paesaggi e momenti tramite efficaci pennellate sonore.

 

"Le choix d'Atropos (La scelta di Atropo) è un progetto che propone paesaggi oscuri, pulsazioni industriali e sonorità malate. L'ispirazione è spesso tratta dagli avvenimenti della prima metà del XX secolo, con i suoi terribili conflitti e sconvolgimenti che così tanto hanno segnato la storia dell'umanità, introducendo il mondo nell'era moderna. Ma in Le choix d’Atropos c'è traccia di un giudizio critico spesso molto duro nei confronti della società moderna. Pur esaltando e sfruttando l'evoluzione tecnologica e sociale dell'umanità del nuovo millennio, Le choix d'Atropos ne critica la vacuità e l'ipocrisia, la mancanza di coerenza e il triste abbandono dell'individualismo visto come cura del singolo individuo come unità a se stante, come entità il cui obbligo primario nei confronti della civiltà è l'evoluzione e la crescita sia spirituale che socio-culturale, a favore invece di una massificazione che invece di omologare tutti al limite superiore, tende ad attestare l'umanità intera al suo limite inferiore. Abbandonati i suoni techno-industriali iniziali, volge ora verso atmosfere noise post-belliche che emergono da grezzi beats industriali o grooves sovrapposti e destrutturati,  discendenti, qualche volta, in un profondo e oscuro paesaggio sonoro ambient." Musical project by Omega Flow (Catania). A mixture of industrial electronics, EBM, trance, ambient, powernoise and ritual ambient created for transporting the listener into sound landscapes and environments almost visual. A oneiric multimedia project where dreams and nightmares alternate constantly. The albums, almostly concept albums, are inspired by moments of world history or future worlds created drawing with sounds and music, in which the melody alternates dissonance in a complex rhythmic fabric, on raw canvas of noise, landscapes and moments through effective sound strokes.

 

"Le choix d'Atropos (the choice of Atropo) is a project that proposes dark landscapes, industrial pulsations and diseased sonorities. The inspiration is often taken from the events of the first half of the twentieth century, with its terrible conflicts and upheavals that so much have marked the history of humanity, introducing the world in the modern era.

But in Le choix d'Atropos there is trace of a critical judgment often very hard against the modern society. While enhancing and exploiting technological and social evolution of the humanity of the new millennium, Le choix d'Atropos criticizes the emptiness and hypocrisy, the lack of coherence and the sad abandon of individualism seen as care of the individual as a unit in itself, as an entity whose primary obligation in respect of civilization, is both the spiritual and socio-cultural evolution and growth, in favor instead of a depersonalization that instead to approve all the upper limit, tends to attest the whole of humanity to its lower limit.

Abandoned the initial techno-industrial sounds, now the project turns toward post-war atmospheric noises that emerge from raw industrial beats or superimposed grooves and unstructured descendants, sometimes in a deep and obscure ambient landscape sounds." (from Goth.it)
